SolidVision has quickly developed into the largest authorized supplier of CAD/CAM/CAE solutions with strong technical support, specifically SolidWorks and SolidCAM solutions. Already fifteen years ago, it was one of the few to start working in the field of 3D scanning, thus fulfilling the idea of true reverse engineering. The main goal of the Competence Centre is to showcase the integration of all modern 3D technologies in one place. From design, reverse engineering, production, 3D printing to inspection on a robotic workstation using a 3D scanner. The visitor will have a unique opportunity to see all these technologies in a small space, their cooperation, continuity and, above all, the benefits for practice, and to understand and fulfil the idea of Industry 4.0.


As already mentioned, in the Competence Centre you can see the use of a 3D scanner for reverse engineering, when it is advantageous to use the machining method, of course, with the support of the latest high-speed machining methods, a comprehensive technology of 3D printing designed for production use, including a state-of-the-art 3D printer for metal from Markforged Metal X for metal printing. At the end of the process, you can even see the inspection robotic measuring station using high-precision 3D scanners.
